Heavy rainfall? Avoid the Bradford Road approach.

Do not arrive via Bradford Road (A641) after heavy rainfall. This route can involve crossing the stream ford. Use Highmoor Lane or Clifton Common instead, even if your navigation suggests Bradford Road.

GETTING HERE

Three approaches.
One countryside welcome.

There are three main approaches to The Lodge. Choose your route below and follow the road names through the final countryside lanes.

ROUTE 01

From Bradford Road (A641)

  1. Turn directly onto Thornhills Beck Lane.
  2. Continue towards The Lodge with caution: this approach can involve crossing the stream ford.

After heavy rainfall: do not use this approach. Arrive via Clifton Common or Highmoor Lane instead.

ROUTE 02

From Highmoor Lane

  1. Turn onto Jay House Lane and continue down towards Thornhills Lane.
  2. Continue straight ahead as the road naturally merges onto Thornhills Beck Lane.
  3. Continue towards The Lodge.

ROUTE 03

From Clifton Common (A643)

  1. Turn onto Thornhills Lane.
  2. Follow the road to the sharp bend, then turn left onto Thornhills Beck Lane.
  3. Continue towards The Lodge.
